Minister Oyita Emmanuel recently released a new song right around the time he hosted a worship concert. We reached out to him in the midst of all his busy schedule and he was gracious to give us a moment of his time.

rayscorner: Let us meet you sir, kindly introduce yourself to our readers
Oyita: My name is Oyita Emmanuel, I am a gospel music Minister and by Gods grace , He has been faithful, and has been using this gift to bless lives
rayscorner: How long have you been into music
Oyita: I've been into music since I was a teenager. My dad used to be the choir head, so he encouraged me to be a part of it, since he could see the interest in me.
rayscorner: Aside from music are you into other forms of Art or craft
Oyita: Yes, I'm an Artist. I do general art. I paint, I design, graphics and all that. I currently I'm into media Art and craft and entertainment
rayscorner: What is your personal philosophy in life
Oyita: OK... I believe that you need to work to get what you want, nothing just falls on your life. Things don't just happen, things are planned, you have to work it out and with God's grace you will attain it.
rayscorner: What are some of the challenges that you face as a Gospel minister / Recording Artist
Oyita: in every aspect of life there are challenges. In the music industry, the major challenge is finance. Having a good song but unable to afford the right kind of producers.
rayscorner: Has the industry been rewarding for you so far?
Oyita: Yea, by God's grace we are still into it. We are growing and I believe God is opening doors.
rayscorner How long have you been married, Sir?
Oyita: About 7 years now
rayscorner: What would you say is the best thing about being married ?
Oyita: Uhm I believe marriage makes you more focus, the fact that you have another person in your life means you cant just wing it, whatever you do now affects someone else, even without children, and that reality is emphasized after you have children.
rayscorner: You are also a worship leader how does that play out in your music career?
Oyita: Well, I started singing in church, and then I started recording. So I guess both aspect work fine.
rayscorner: Who are your musical influences
Oyita : I grew up listening to kirk Franklin, Hezekiah Walker, Joe Praise.... And they built me up. Another person is Marvin Sapp, Vocally he has influenced me a lot.
rayscorner: Are there any artists you would love to work with? Let's throw it to the universe.
Oyita: Yea, the number one person i would love to work with is Kirk Franklin, Then tribett, Todd Dulaney.
rayscorner: Do you believe in fate?
Oyita: Hmmmm, Fate uhm...it is quite ambiguous. But I don't believe that things just happen. Things are orchestrated and the one who orchestrates them is God. And he directs us through the help of the Holy spirit.
rayscorner: Do you have any regrets in life? If you did, what would it be ?
Oyita: uhm like something I did and wish I didn't do?No, By God's grace, none... God has been faithful towards me.
rayscorner: Let's talk about your up coming event, tell us about it
Oyita: Uhm, the program is called "The Beauty Of Worship (The BOW)" organized yearly and the mandate is to gather people for worship and God will beautify them.
rayscorner: Finally, what would you like to leave our readers with, advice, quote, anything of that nature
Oyita: Uhm like I said , things don't just happen. If you want anything, take it to God in prayer first, don't just burst out, and when you have the conviction you will certainly overcome.
