MONDAY MOTIVATION

Aretha Franklin is the queen of soul, with a voice like that of an Angel and a fleet of Grammy Awards to back it up.

So, imagine the excitement in the air, when 15 year old Grace shows up before  the Judges of American Idol, and introduces herself as "granddaughter" of the Legendary queen of soul Aretha Franklin.

When she was done performing, Lionel Richie refused to give her a "Yes" even though Katy Perry insisted she was ready, we think this was based on sentiments or maybe just for the cameras....oops!

What did we think about Grace's performance? she was good, but she wasn't ready to roll with beasts that were on the show...

The show is know for producing Amazing vocalists, like Kelly Clarkson, Jenifer Hudson, Carrie Underwood to name a few. Grace certainly isn't any where near ready to compete on that level

We think what Lionel did for her is the best thing anyone could do for her in that moment.

Had she progressed in the show, she would or let's say "could" have fallen in a way that would be impossible to rise up.

But certainly, she can take a step back, Reset and Refire... This Time, ready to aim.
